On this week’s podcast, we’re talking about inventions. From the day that early man discovered the need for bowls and straws to the day that later man cobbled together the iPhone, our whole society has been built upon inventions. Within this podcast, you’ll find out more nonsense about ourselves, including:
Cloud and Marc’s separate attempts to revolutionize the water-moving industry
Our fond recollections of AOL keywords and AIM
A debate on whether Thomas Edison or Ron Popeil was a better inventor
Marc’s slam-poetry voicemail (which, I promise you, is NOT to be missed)

I know the past few months have been really great. We’ve had a lot of fun times, and I wouldn’t trade any of that for the world. I love your parents and all of your family, and I’m glad that they seem to like me. You’ve taken me on some GREAT trips, and I’ll remember those times forever. So I don’t want you to take this the wrong way. It’s just…I don’t know if I feel the same way about you as I did when you first started listening to the podcast.
When you first started listening, you were always so attentive. You’d submit a podcast question nearly every week to info@octavarius.com, and it made me feel special. You’d laugh at my jokes, listen to my stories, and you seemed so genuinely interested in our shitty fake advertisements. Now you’ve been skipping around to the good parts, you can’t remember the last few Marc: Sad Sack stories that I’ve told you, and I know that you’ve started listening to other podcasts. So maybe…maybe it would be for the best if I started seeing other listeners for a while.
Hey. Come on, don’t cry. I know it hurts. It hurts me too. I’m not saying I won’t be there forever. Maybe by next Monday or so I’ll think things over and I’ll have changed my mind. But until then…you’ll just have to listen to the podcast on breakups.
I’ll always remember you. And we’ll always remember our song.

Alright, NERDS. It’s the back to school podcast. Consider my withholding (forgetting) it for two days as the Internet equivalent of not giving you back your textbooks until you’ve given me your lunch money. (OK, so it’s been a hectic week with a new semester of work starting. It’s easy to forget a tiny SD card sometimes.) Anyway, in this podcast we console a young boy’s fears of going to school for the first time. Also:
LP and Scott’s teachers let them get away with murder (or at least tasering)
BWo finds no shelter in a lady’s closet
Lauren finally discovers what Wu-Tang is
Enjoy! Next week we’ll be back on the normal schedule: podcast on Monday, an assortment of nonsense the rest of the week.

The neighbor that brings cupcakes to all of the residents? The neighbor that has awkward laundry room encounters? The neighbor that demands to announce their relationship status whenever meeting someone new? The neighbor that accidentally locks people in the shed with angry bees?

In Part 4 of 6 of our bonus podcast (recorded in and around Tennessee), LP, Keith, Robert and I are thrilled. Why? Because we’re about to go to Nashville! What could go wrong? (Hint: lots.) In case you’ve missed the other Tennessee podcasts, here are the links: Part I Part II Part III Enjoy! Part 5 comes out soon.
In episode 27 of our podcast, we’re talking cartoons. As you well know, cartoons are the most badass form of media as it allows the creator to depict anything. ANYTHING, people. Among other nonsense in this podcast, you’ll find out:
The discreet differences between Street Sharks and Biker Mice from Mars Who Lauren’s next impossible marriage proposal [...]
Keith, LP, myself, and our friend Robert went on a Tennessee vacation. When we first arrived at our cabin we recorded a podcast. Then we drank for a few hours. Then at 2:35AM we recorded another 10-minute podcast. Here, have a listen.
In this week’s podcast we’ve been asked to talk about nudity. HANG ON, GRAMPS. DON’T LOOK AWAY JUST YET. For the most part we’re moderately tasteful about it. We also delve into the ideas behind censorship, which is terrifically fitting since we’ve very recently been chastised for not censoring our own humor. Listen to the [...]
Last week Keith, LP and I took a mini-vacation to Tennessee with our native Tennesseean friend and Southerner of the Week award winner Robert Hughes. Though we had BBQ and moonshine on the brain, we still had the foresight to bring the podcast equipment with us to create a captain’s log of sorts. This is [...]
Keith, I’m so glad you took the challenge! Is it weird that I still want to try the grilled cheeseburger melt?… P.S. the “ahhh ha fools” picture = best picture of Keith ever.
