U2 is one of the biggest bands in the history of rock music. The group also features one of rock’s most mysterious band members, The Edge. All of the mystery involves the guitarist’s hat, which it would seem he has been wearing since birth.
I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Wait, never mind. I found it. It's on my head.
I have conducted some thorough research, and it would appear as if nobody has ever witnessed the man without his distinctive headwear.
Above: conclusive evidence.
What exactly is The Edge hiding under his hat that the world isn’t ready to see? Fear not, readers. My source at NUSI (The National Ultra-Surveillance Institute)*, who wishes to remain nameless**, has provided me with what is perhaps the only piece of photographic evidence of the secret that The Edge has been keeping from us this whole time. Birthmarks are normally nothing to be ashamed of, but in this man’s case I believe this is something that’s worth hiding. Please be sensitive about sharing this information with others…this is a human being just like the rest of us.
It’s tragic…but it does make you wonder why he decided to adopt the nickname “The Edge.”
Happy Sunday, everybody! A few days ago LP posted a very cool video in which some guy mashed a bunch of clips from Hook into a badass song. The artist, Pogo, has a few others that you might enjoy. This one uses a bunch of sounds from the first two Harry Potter movies, and I think it’s extremely neat. If you like it then I’d highly recommend checking out Pogo’s Youtube channel, which has all of the songs and the occassional link to download the audio.
Tinz and I would like to take the opportunity to share lots of our music with you. We made a website! So if you are interested, take a look! http://keithandtinz.webs.com/ Oh, and the picture? That’s just what I chose to do when everyone went to bed early.
This post was sprung from a previous post, Name That Tune. In fact, I was going to originally post this as a comment, but after some time I realized it was getting stupid-long. The aforementioned post (don’t be lazy, read it and watch the video) was about a large number of songs that suspiciously use [...]
This is a guest post by Robin Clement of Street to Runway. It’s happened for ages. You’re all set to hear a new song—whether it is illegally downloaded, from a CD, cassette or record—and just when you start groovin’ to the music, something hits you. Why does this sound so familiar? Ahah! The melody is just [...]
Modest Mouse have some of my favorite music videos. The videos for ‘Dashboard’ and ‘Little Motel’ are definitely worth a look. This one off their new album No One’s First and You’re Next is just par for the course.
Directed by WHO? Hell, I think I recognized John Candy as one of the whales.
