Words cannot describe what I am feeling right now.

On its surface, Jingle All the Way is a slapstick filled family comedy about a father who doesn’t go Christmas shopping in time to buy the hot new Turboman toy for his son.

Howard Langston (photo here) must partake in one crazy adventure in order to find the one remaining Turboman doll.  Hijinx ensues, and Howard finds himself dressed up as Turboman for the big Christmas parade.

Booster, (Turboman’s sidekick (played by Booger from Revenge of the Nerds)), throws a fit because Sinbad isn’t sticking to “what they rehearsed.”  Sinbad, now dressed as Dementor, politely informs Booster that no one likes him and punches him right off the float.  It’s at this point a group of children swarm to Booster and, to quote Castellvi, “beat him ragged.”

This is where the incredible offensiveness comes in.  Did you know that a child, yes a child, spews out anti-homosexual terms in this scene?  Don’t believe me?  Watch the clip here:

Did you catch it?

Listen closely, at about the 55 second mark.  A child clearly yells, “We don’t like you, rag!”

…Only he didn’t say “rag.” He said THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the “F-dash-dash” word.

How could esteemed director Brian Levant (of Problem Child 3: Junior in Love fame) allow this in an otherwise wonderful film?

My Christmas is ruined.  How about yours?
