I got my Comcast cable bill in the mail (along with a bunch of flyers which I told them to stop sending, wasted garbage) and on it I have a City Amusement Tax of $6.66. Do you think the devil has made me watch LOST?

Most everyone hates paying taxes. And if there is someone saying they don’t, then you at least hate something else to fit it. Even when life is at it’s top we as human beings can find something to bitch about. There’s a pet peeve of mine that I’d like to vent about if I may:

Crowds.

If I hate them so much maybe I’ve picked the wrong place to live. Chicago being the 3rd biggest city in the US there are always someone anywhere. I can’t cross the street until traffic is backed up bumper to bumper, good luck getting around a fat couple walking slow on the sidewalk in front of you and the commute is the worst. I count on the CTA every day to get me anywhere in this city and to constantly fight with everyone else aggravates me to say the least. I enjoy my job so the worst part of my day usually is that commute. Maybe I’m the only one that wants to scream at the lady with her rolling briefcase standing on the walking side of the escalator. It’s moving stairs people! Do we really have to be that lazy to not walk up them!

My point being that we all can find something in our lives to complain about. I just want to see if writing it down helps at all.
