This top secret footage is so top secret that they actually asked us to stop filming right in the middle. What we did capture though, shows the “Torture Round” of the BattleProv show.
If you missed the last BattleProv show we did at ComedySportz, never fear. We’ve got one tonight. And this time it’s personal. Come by ComedySportz (929 W Belmont Ave) at 10pm for all the festivities. Tickets are only $5, and there’s merrymaking and drinking games after the show.
The torture round is where each team ges to pick an obscene challenge for the other group. In our case it was a mutated version of the traditional game, Sit Stand Kneel.

Since Octavarius will be back at ComedySportz this Thursday at 10 for another round of BattleProv, we thought it only fitting that we release some top secret footage from our last show there.
BattleProv works differently than other improv shows. The two competing teams go head to head in different rounds. This video covers the first three rounds, which include a group game, two made up short form games, and the “do your thing” round.
As mentioned above, we’ve got another show there this Thursday at 10pm, and there’ll be flip cup and hanging out afterward. Tickets are only $5.

On last Wednesday we took the stage at O.I.N.K. Due to an unfortunate bit before us, that stage was covered in whiskey and possibly broken glass.

Robert and Keith decided to have fun while I wasn’t home last month and apparently Marc filmed it. Yup, that is Robert Hughes from Bollingbrook, Illinois and guy whose name we use to replace actual people’s names in our podcast.
